I was recently contemplating the value of salt. It was on a plate in front of me…millions of little flakes shining in the dinner candle light. It dawned on me that I use salt to bring the flavor out in food. So simple- just sprinkle to coax out the essence of meat, broccoli, life.

I like to live like salt, which explains my curiosity, my passion for conversation, for good storytelling, for deep-diving into what makes things magical in this world. It’s my main ingredient. But the recipe is made up as I go along. I guess it’s the same for most of you.
